Here's some exciting news and upcoming performance information:
*First of all, I just put 2 new songs up on myspace! Go to www.myspace.com/shannonthomas to check out "Back To Believing" & "Say What You Mean" ... and feel free to leave a nice comment about them. :o)
*On Thursday, April 3rd, John & I will be performing on Good Day Tulsa, Channel 8's morning news show to promote "Sirens Sing Out". We will be on around 8:30am.
*On Sunday, April 6th, I will play a solo set at "Sirens Sing Out", an all female concert benefitting Girls, Inc., an organization that mentors young women and girls through after school programs and summer camps. The event starts at 6:30pm in TU's Great Hall, Allen Chapman Activity Center. To find out more about Girls, Inc., or to get involved visit www.girlsinctulsa.org.
*Don't forget I play (almost) every Saturday night at The Blend Coffee House, in Broken Arrow, from 8-9pm. Come out and request all your favorite ST songs! www.myspace.com/theblendcoffeehouse

Also, you will be pleased to know that I've been writing more lately, due to a fresh wave of inspiration. We can thank Ms. Ayn Rand for that, since I am finally reading "The Fountainhead" and it is making me see things a lot more clearly. :o) I have also been working on more covers and playing more guitar, in hopes that I will soon be able to add it into my shows. Wish me luck on that!
Oh, and if you happen to know anyone who'd like to design my myspace page (for free), let me know. Right now it looks ridiculous and I don't know how to make it better.

August has been a big month for me! I had my first tv performance (on Tulsa's "Six in the Morning"), my first newspaper article, & now I have been nominated for my first award in music, a 2006 Spotnik Award for Best Pop Act. Thanks to the Tulsa World staff for nominating me!
